Welcome to the Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport's (FLL), Voluntary Residential Sound Insulation Program (Sound Insulation Program) web site.
The selection criteria for eligibility will be based on those residential properties located in the highest noise impact areas. Beginning with homes in the 70 DNL and working out to the program boundaries. The Sound Insulation Program is part of the Broward County Aviation Department's long-term implementation plan to provide noise mitigation measures to eligible residences located within the approved Program boundaries for potential noise mitigation (see map for project areas). If you are one of the property owners who are eligible to participate in this Sound Insulation Program, you will be receiving an application and other materials as funding becomes available for your property. The purpose of the Sound Insulation Program to reduce aircraft-generated noise in homes within Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) designated areas surrounding the airport.
